My Top Three REEL ACTION Themes

#1. Environment

Environmental issues are of great concern in the 21st century. For example, I have heard about ozone depletion, cutting of forests for construction of plants, use of harmful chemicals by the plants that dump the waste into the waters, car exhausts, human activities, like using of fertilizers in agriculture. I’d like to address environmental issues. If you remember in my elevator pitch I spoke about construction of a gold plant near lake Sevan, which uses cyanide for processing of ore. Environmentalists fear that this cyanide will drain into the ground waters and then into the lake and contaminate it.

#2. Media

Media is a powerful means to raise issues, which concern me. There are two types of media – informative and analytic. I am more interested in analytic media, so that I can explore some issues and write about it and draw attention of people to the problems.

#.3 Peace/War/Conflict

This is the first issue I worry about. I want the world to be a peaceful place. I have heard recently that Korea tested nuclear weapon. There is so much tension in the world between different countries. Peace/war/conflict issues are very important to be tackled.

First time I saw this film when I was 10 years old. I was very imprest, because the film was about the life of my favorite singer. While watching the film I understood, that if somebody has a goal thich he wants to make true, then no obstacle can stop him.


My favorite opisode in the film is (I mean it is not what I like, but how it is introdused in the film) when he loses eyesight. I myself think that it was a result of a stress that ha had because of his brother’s death. I’m simply very touched by this episode.

One more episode from the film, which I also like. It is about how the blind talented musican could hear the bird’s breathing on the other side of the window…
